I feel like it's a bit overrated and didn't really catch me, but the game mechanics are different and the sound design is great. Can't really complain when it's literally $6

i have barely played this and have no interest in continuing. Absolute worst possible development of the plot, horrible characters, levels feel like racetracks not buildings to deduce how to climb, unnecessary and over-complicated combat and movement skill tree, open world that include so little parkour at times they feel like walkways meant specifically for the runners, which is the opposite of the point of the entire game.

I don't think the original was perfect either. Combat loop was annoying and the ending was overly cinematic to the point of making it at times way overly punishing (too many enemies with barely any cover in a game designed to be played with little gun combat, mandatory events triggered by very specific actions.)

But every minute that i did play, and every clip I've seen have confirmed my worst fears about what this game could be.

Great game, sort of annoying some times. The hack pool is a very interesting form of vertical progression but it can be annoying as it makes it harder for healing to appear as you get more hacks.
There's also the complaint that Superhot works better with hand crafted levels but I thought that the random generation worked well for it. Sometimes you breeze through a level, and sometimes you spawn with 3 enemies in front of you. It's much more immersive to have to prepare for these possibilities, just be prepared to also get screwed over by it.

Overall, it's just a whole lot of Superhot, and if that's what you want, I think it delivers.

I wish I could give Blockland a yes with a huge warning. Nobody reads reviews though.

I would recommend this because it is fun... That said it is multiplayer based and not many people play it anymore, and the people who do are asshats, so I guess buy at your own risk.

I've played this game on and off for years, and I still play it sometimes. It's pretty dead. There is usually like less than 30 people playing. We see so many old games that people play to this day, I don't now how people could still hold that point of view. It's very moddable, just go to the blockland forum, or get blockland glass. (rip rtb)
It's alot like gmod, but with bricks instead of screwing around with weird props and stuff (not that I don't like gmod) You can still do some cool stuff without any mods with the events, and minigames and stuff, but it will always be 10x more fun with mods.
Also, I don't know if I'm getting wooshed but everyone keeps actually saying that it's a ripoff of minecraft or roblox, which is funny because I always thought it was more like Gmod. Just because it's bricks doesn't mean it's Roblox lol. It's very unique though, I wouldn't call it a ripoff of anything.

I used to play this on mobile a lot but it works great for PC. Crashes a lot on both, but saves purchases and ♥♥♥♥ a lot, so while it's annoying just make sure you save your worlds, and to go to fast. I can see why people wouldn't like tho.

After completing the main story I am just barely over half completed with more interesting content to explore, not even counting the modded content available. Absolutely must-have 3d platformer, just oozing with entertainment and personality at all angles.
