I think one of the main critiques this game gets its that "it doesn't have any content" which in my opinion is completely false. The problem is, that it can sometimes feel like that, because Elite doesn't show you its content openly, be it in an in-game guide or tutorial, you sometimes have to find out this stuff that you can do yourself. This is specially seen on your first hours in game, you don't know what to do, because you don't have any proper final goal, apart from the one you setup for yourself. But the content is there, hell, i have nearly 300 hours in game and i still have quite a bit of stuff to do, I would say that i got my 60 USD worth of fun, and even more considering that its still getting constantly updated with new content and reworking old content. And i think its also worth mentioning that Elite has THE best online community, it really is a bunch of lovely friendly helpful people. But its a hard game by design, specially on your first hours, but in these cases the internet is your friend. Our community knows how hard this game can be to newcomers so you will find dozens upon dozens of guides, tips, etc. And if you don't find the solution to your specific problem, you can always ask on the forum or subreddit or the frontier developments support team, which is the best support team of any game, i wish there was a way to chat with those guys even when you don't have a problem, because they are just lovely! Again, the content is there, its just some Google searches away.
