This is how you do a remaster. Take notes AAA developers. And, thank you Capcom for being true to your name and having some integrity with your products.

Early Access Review
Very fun and addicting plat former rogue like. Highly recommend. The lewds are adorable and funny. Pixel art is top shelf; chefs kiss quality. Anyone who like plat former type games. I highly recommend this one.

IsarL. Thank you. I've always wanted to experience a game like this. I've never felt so much anxiety from something so simple. You nailed it on the atmosphere of this game. The subtle sounds are perfect. The hums that I hate from halogen lights are perfect. And, don't even get me started on the lighting. The fact that this game is only a Gigabyte in size will fool you. It feels like the game should be massive in size for how realistic it truly looks with the RTX lighting and reflections. Love this game even though I've only played 20min of it at the time of writing this. Spoiler: I got to level 4 or 5 after the knock on the elevator door. And, had to turn it off once I got back into the office limit zone. Pushed my anxiety to the limit. Anyways. Everyone should try this game. It's only a gig in size and will really mess with your head in a unique, fun, and safe way. Cheers!

Ignore the graphical programming mess ups. This game is a benchmark game for sure. Remember when everything was going from PS3 to PS4 and Shadows of Mordor/ The Evil Within/ Dragon Age Inqusition all looked like hot garbage on PS3 but epic on PS4. Same concept here. I'm running this game on a 1050 GTX Nvidia laptop card. Do I get frame rate drops. Yes. Can I only run the game on low. Yes. Is that breaking away from my experience of the game..........NO!!!! This game is awesome despite the many many issues it has. The programming bugs are ridiculous yes but, if you look past the bugs like a normal PC gamer. You have a wonderful gem of a game.........Yes the bugs can be annoying; but I can see why their are so many bugs. COVID-19 caused a lot of jobs to disappear; scalpers made our lives difficult on getting updated hardware. This game is meant for the RTX realm of gaming theirs no doubt about that. Theirs even settings for it; if you even bother to look in the settings tab. I get roughly 30 to 50 frames most of the time after updating my graphics drivers and running the game on low. ( which looks like I'm running the game on medium might I add; because the artwork is that amazing ).

Now that I'm done about the technical non-sense; on to the game itself. Cyberpunk 2077 is essentially Blade Runner meets Deus Ex. A FANTASTIC ART COMBO!!!! Weapon design is awesome. Levels feel dense and huge at the same time. The world is full of life and style. Game play is a massive mix of stealth, weapon play, hacking and all out action depending how you approach certain situations in the game world. The story is very strong in my opinion. Especially when Act 2 kicks in. Keeping me on the edge of my seat wondering whats gonna happen next. Mini bosses are fun. ( although the A.I. can be a little silly some times ).

In a nut shell. If you like Deus Ex and you like Blade Runner. Your going to love this games aesthetic and play style. It is open world and very dense both vertically and on the ground level. I recommend having a RTX or a high level AMD to run this game. Just know that GTX is now no longer a thing when it comes to gaming; since now everyone is focused on Ray Tracing everything they can. Just wish they didn't jump the gun so hard on RTX and still optimized for both GTX and RTX graphics engines. But, that being said; I can understand why they did it on a technical level with such a dense game that suffered small development hell's and delays.

CD Projekt Red. Keep building on this. It is a gem to behold. Remember your roots and build off of that. You got the Witcher 3 to run on a Nintendo Switch for god sake's. Get Cyber Punk 2077 Running harder than ever both on GTX and RTX. I know it's possible. I'm just curious where things went wrong with optimization.......Cheers......

Just downgrade your graphics drivers........WHAT!? Yeah no. It's a wonderful game. My favorite of the series.......BUUUUUT. You will run into performance issues. This game chugs more butt than a cheap inner city ♥♥♥♥♥. I know my graphics card so well now because of this game. I'm able to run all my other games on high settings with no lag. My knowledge of graphics card terminology has improved because of this game. The game is a "hold my beer" moment all around just to get it running smoothly. It literally uses only 1GB of VRAM running on medium and 1GB of VRAM on high..........THIS MAKES NO SENSE!?

Shear love for this game is the only reason why I deal with frame rate issues and model/ texture pop-ins ( running on medium by the way ), but I consistently want to reach through the matrix and slap a few programmers in the worse way.

For an early access game; it's really satisfying. The mechanics are fun. The character and enemy design are neat. The "Never Ending Labyrinth" does feel never ending with the labyrinth changing every time you die. The bosses are fun and challenging. Very pretty art style with a mix of PBR and stylized texturing and model design. Doing achievements in game keep you busy and have rewards to help you push further into the labyrinth.

****ONE BIG BUG I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIXING TO THE DEVELOPER: YOUR HEALTH BAR GLITCHES SOMETIMES SHOWING FULL HEALTH WHEN YOU ARE NOT AT FULL HEALTH.****

The bug mentioned above might only be because this game is still in early access and hasn't been caught by the developer yet. But, doesn't ruin the experience for me as a player. Just causes me to dodge more often.

Other than the easily fixable bug. This game is fantastic even for early access; highly recommend it for anyone into difficult action adventure games.

Most fun I've had in a long time!!!

Enemies spawn randomly when you die. Enemies flank you from time to time. Enemies spawn from behind you from time to time. I've never been so paranoid in an action adventure game!

Style of the game is fantastic. "Lovecraftian" style world and enemies. The game has a fantastic balance of breakneck speed and strategy moments depending on the group of enemies. Enemy types change randomly also when you die and re-spawn. But, keeping to the same enemy types for the area your playing in. Enemies also vary on attack patterns. You can't just run and gun. Some enemies will block attacks. Using your environment for cover with long range enemies and timing your attacks with short range enemies even when shooting is very important.

The game borrows a lot of visual/ game play aesthetics from other game series like Fallout, Dark Souls and Darksiders but still looking and feeling unique in it's own way very strongly.

Got to the first boss; got destroyed by it's battle patterns. The boss arena is super tight quarters. And, the boss even summons more enemies in the area causing you to focus more on your surroundings and not just the boss.

From what I can tell in the first hour of game play. Everything hits like a truck and chews on your health bar like a protein bar. Your guns are for distance damage; your melee is for when the enemy gets to close for comfort. The battle system is a fantastic ballet of how to hit your enemies and how hard at just the right time. Testing your critical thinking on and during every battle. A little hint: your pistol and melee are your best friend. Save your heavy firearm for the big baddies. Ammo is a little short for the heavy weapon and rarely drops from what I can tell.

Highly recommend this game to anyone who likes difficult action adventures. With high risk/ gratification. Looking forward to many more hours of this game. And, the DLC that was released at the time of this review.
