hey, im banned for an uncertain(reason: this, or this, or that)(i said literally "smack you", to an user who asked to be literally smacked) reason for 30 days by valve, so i cant agree with your topic about (valve) moderators.
i can not see "recruitment" to be any violation.
but they do have a discord advertising pinned topic, which they might have intended to be the way to "recruit". if so, this is utter incompetence, for which you are not to be held accountable in a just world. regulations should be unambiguous, not allowing interpretations, exhaustive, ... and so on.
in case you dont know, some if not all, of the repliers youve got are moderators, hence they being defensive and making up excuses.
also, lucky you, thats just a warning.
