For context i have 5,836.2 hrs on record currently, Rust is a mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game its very hard and very time consuming and (prior to recoil update) very hard to start and actually get to end game as a new player but on the flip side that is exactly why the game is the most rewarding game i have ever played with never ending conflicts/challenges/revenge's/adventures to be had. the community is the most toxic i have seen (prior to rust i thought csgo had the most toxic community) if you have a life vanilla rust is not for you i would (if your new) recommend a 2x/3x/5x/10x server. but in my opinion rust is the best game ive ever played. i started back before the tool cupboard was added and the game to this day is still being worked on constantly including cars/boats/heli's/drones/electricty/advanced farming and more witch most games dont get this much attention from the devs 10/10 game
