The gameplay itself is solid and the shortcomings come primarily from the randomization and time-gated elements in relation to the map selection, weapons shop, weekly missions and skin shop. The bugs felt relatively rare, and the game is overall well-optimized.

The game is a visual and auditory masterpiece which is a darned shame. The state of the game as of the release of this video indicates that it will die and never recover but let's imagine for the best. Check out more in depth review in the video,

I made a video about this game. tl;dr. It is worth playing, don't expect something like Advanced Warfare though, this is more of a puzzle game than a turn-based strategy game.

Pretty fun but incredibly vague on what can and can not happen as your proceed into the game. I am fighting every urge to look into the StarBound wiki but there is almost no information in game on what is and isn't possible. For example I looked and looked on various planets for Oil and no planet indicated it had oil. I eventually gave up and did a wiki search and it turns out desert planets have oil. This of course isn't entirely true as our own planet has oil and it isn't a desert planet. Then there is setting up houses and exactly what that means. I thought setting up nice fancy rooms generated more currency but it turns out the only thing that matters is world difficulty. Anyways, it's definetely fun. My biggest gripe is just the complete lack of direction

Dissapointing. This game, a multi-national, multi-million dollar game. This game. Puttting it mildly, there were several exploits found in their new map Sanhok, many of which were glarignly obvious locations in which you could crawl, walk or swim under rocks and into them. The QA for this game is utter garbage.

The game still manages to turn my computer into an oven, and the game still has ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lag all over the place. You still need to download GB's worth of content each time this game is updated because the multi-million dollar company is too busy devising ways to make more money off of this ♥♥♥♥ than implementing some delta-updater.

This game is just badly managed and there's no excuse because this is no longer some tiny indie project. Greedy people at the top finally pushed me away, the core experience is still fun, but all the bad things slowly eats away at that.

It's not fun to have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "premium" items shoved in my face, it's not fun to die in the first minute of the match because you couldn't pick up the gun due to whatever "lag" goes on in the beginning. It's not fun to see these glaring QA mistakes that tell you the devs don't care about making a great game, only about making as much money as possible.

I uninstalled, maybe one day I'll come back. But quite frankly it's becoming harder to justify the core-experience when there are other games out there doing it better, luckily for PUBG there are no serious battle-royale ARMA style shooters out there.

I don't know if it's disks read-write speed, I don't know if it's because of high amount of enemies, high amount of SFX. I don't know if it's my connection to the server but the game stutters after a while with FPS and Ping Spikes and makes the game incredibly frustrating to play. I largely refuse to believe the problem lies on my end because I play a ton of Multi-player games and I play on a GTX 1070 with a quad core i7. Maybe you need an immaculate internet connection, either way it's completely ruined my experience.

Wow, this is the kind of game where you can sit around for five hours at a time just being comfy. Each faction so far that I've played: Broken Lords, Roving Clans, WoodWalkers, and Vaulters; have entirely different play styles and approaches and unique abilities respective to the faction that can make them a power house at specific victory types. Not only is each faction unique but they are incredibly balanced, I've had little trouble setting them up and even a rough start can be turned around, on easy at least.

The music and aesthetics that everyone talks about are truly top tier and absolutely gorgeous to listen to and hear. As someone who played Civ V, I much better prefer Endless Legend simply because it is a more relaxing and comfortable enviornment. This game is 100% worth getting for those who don't mind a slow but pleasent experience.
