Ave Legate. This is an epic turn-based strategy RPG for fans of Rome and alternate history, the campaign is great, the combat is amazing too, characters and dialogue are well executed and some branching arcs entertaining as well. Character progression is good, just too much worthless loot to go through sometimes, only a few items really end up being worn by your units. All in all, an imperial package

I love Star Wars more than I hate Unreal. But my God, do I hate Unreal. Optimization is all over the place, flicker, stutter, not even FSR can make it playable in some parts. It makes combat much more difficult than it needs to be, I had to lower difficulty during boss fights because it's very hard to time things right.

I enjoyed the first game a lot more. It had more planet variety and a better story line. Dialogue is still a bit cringe, nothing to write home about. This one has a couple of bad guys and one of them is very underutilized. It could have been much better. All in all I had what I wanted which was a new Star Wars game. However I can only recommend it at 75% discount or more.

This remake is much better than the Commandos 2 remake, menus are polished, gameplay is bug-free and responsive, graphics aren't butchered from the original, over all a much better rendition of the game that really does honor the original one. If only they'd taken the same approach with Commandos 2 HD

I'm so torn with this game. Commandos 2 is probably my favorite tactical strategy game, I've completed it several times during my life. The remaster brings better graphics, resolution, and some mechanics like zooming in or the much improved tutorials which are great. On the other hand, it introduces many bugs, crashes and the menu UI and the ingame fonts are awful to look at. Some things could have been made much better with not a ton of effort, like upscaling the cinematics. I am enjoying it for what it is, a flawed remaster that deserves to shine so much more

Having an absolute blast replaying this masterpiece. While the devs did a pretty good job, make sure you play at least with the ALOT and the ISL mods, the upscaling of textures makes a huge difference. What a time to be alive, when games released 15 years ago feel so up to date

A fun parody of Metal Gear and other 80s action movies. The art is pretty, the pacing is good, the bosses are not incredibly hard and the humor is entertaining. Overall you'll get a good few hours of fast-paced stealth and silly humor

I've spent 16 hours at the time of writing and I can say this game is challenging (I'm playing the hardest level) but so rewarding and incredibly beautiful to look at. The minute you land in the city of Hafin there are so many Final Fantasy vibes, the forests and deserts are drawn in minute detail, the gameplay and exploration is great (I'm playing the scout), balanced and the bosses are fun to figure out. Overall very recommended, a blast from the past using the tech of the present.

EDIT: After the balance update the game became a lot more manageable and enjoyable. The boss fights were challenging and rewarding and the exploration with newly acquired abilities was great too. Overall very recommended

Great game, I wasn't too convinced with the educational material at first but I warmed up to it further in and I love it now, such a great idea. I've only played the campaign, there's enough to go for a good about 25-30 hours, but it's a ton of fun. Some levels feel a bit transitional while others are pretty epic. All in all a great sequel.

A relaxing castle-builder, it will take around 5-6 hours till you complete everything there is to it, after that it depends on how much you like building on other islands, etc I quite enjoyed building my island, it had a canal, I put the cathedral on piers in the middle of the river like Notre Dame. Overall a good small game

Excellent game if you're into tactical espionage/infiltration. Story is ok, combat can be a bit slow-paced as every agent needs to finish their action so cannot multi-task during your turn, but overall great experience.
