Honestly, Garrys mod is limited now, I would wait for S&Box 2 if that ever comes out.

Proximity RP is a modern PERP-ish gamemode that I founded and has been continually developed since 2015 by a number of folks in the community. Gets 50+ players daily pretty consistently. There is certainly still interest in GMod. Particularly PERP style gamemodes.

Perpheads has 128+ players per day, the playerbase is possible.

Had to add a comment. While I don't believe GMOD has the player base it once had, there are games out there and future games that may be good bases to build off of. I'll shoot a friend request to catch up in the near future.

IF I were to revive PGRP. Which I'd have to do completely from scratch. Would Garry's Mod still be the best place for it? I'm fairly "out of the loop" nowadays. I'm wondering if maybe there's something different or better out there that people would rather play on. Such as FiveM? Would like to hear thoughts from anybody that played PGRP back in the day.

I will say that I'm now in a place in my life where I'm motivated to work on such a project. As some of you know the past 10 years of my life hasn't been pretty and I'd rather not focus on that. Point is, is that I'm on a good path now.
