Excellent showcase of VR interactivity and physics at an extreme level, to a point where the physics can get janky (arms clipping into objects you're holding, etc.).

If you like HL: Alyx, and are curious how its gameplay/combat might be if the realism were taken up two notches, give Boneworks a try. You can sprint, jump manually, dynamically adjust your standing/crouching height, climb ledges, and all sorts of other movement features that HL: Alyx has simplified. Some of these mechanics take practice to nail down, but you'll be executing them with relative ease once you do.

As mentioned in the opening sentence, just be warned about the body physics not working perfectly. Also, the realism is right under the border of tedium/troublesome-ness, so it might not be for everyone.

EDIT: And new features being added continuously for free (including a few levels and game modes)! Very worth supporting this game.
