As a non-40K fan (I know next to nothing about the lore/setting): This game isn't *terrible*. But, it's pretty basic/typical as far as VR FPS's go. It feels like it might've come out 2-3 years ago in terms of mechanics and complexity, campaign length, and gameplay variety. Visually it's not super-spectacular (was ported over from Quest 2 after all) but not too bad actually, and it ran quite all right on my system. Overall, there's lots of room for improvement (perhaps for the developers' next title).

However, all in all, I think it's a fairly expected level of production quality for the price point and being developed by what I assume to be a relatively small dev team. I had quite a bit of fun playing through the 3.5h - 4h long campaign (not long at all, but perhaps better off not going on for much longer).

Some thoughts/suggestions for devs, and to set expectations for considering purchasers:

1. AI feels a bit too basic, especially for the enemies. They focus too much on the player unless they have no line of sight. More often than not they'll charge right through the AI teammates just to gun us down, which comes off a bit awkward. They also fairly simply run towards the player or stand still to shoot, never seeming to seek cover. The Space Marines' pinpoint accuracy makes slowly peeking out of cover quite unfavourable against them.
2. I was expecting the game's story to go on for a bit longer, but maybe it's better off not to drag on for too long given that we've seen all the weapons and have been fighting the same enemies for quite awhile by the end. The story does feel like it could do with a second epilogue/conclusion cutscene though for better closure.
3. As other reviewers have mentioned, it would be excellent if the weapon felt more weighty and had stronger recoil - but personally I didn't feel it was too off-putting if I consider the game more of an arcade shooter.
4. Please-please-please provide better support for shorter players! The minimum height seems to not be sufficiently low for me (I don't know how tall I am in real life to compare with though, strange as it may be). Also, being short in real life seems to also make the player character just as short - making it quite awkward being such a tiny Sister of Battle. Perhaps provide an option for an actual height offset (a la Boneworks?) as the current one seems to only be making my knees bend more or less.
5. That's all in mind at this time. Thank you for bringing the game to PC VR. I was really hoping to be able to play it on my Rift S.
