This game is a lot of fun, i beat the game, got to the end and was really excited thinking that i could have possibly played in the sea, just for it to end there :(
The game is a lot of fun to play, i beat it in about 9 hours total, mostly spent poking around having fun. The 20$ price tag for this is a bit much, only because i got less than 10 hours of gameplay out of it. Given i could play survival but at this point i already played the game to as much as i liked, im sure i could play it a bit more to get a few more hours out of it, but i wish they had a "random map" mode where you play on a procedural map. TBH, they might have, if i tried the survival mode, but when i tried playing survival, i had an aether storm within 2 minutes of playing, and the game became unplayable.

Pros:

• Unique survival take on a survival game
  
• Easy to learn the mechanics
  
• I can spend hours just poking around building random machines
  
• The game can be modded

Cons:

• Not enough story to make the 20$ justified
  
• Buggy story, i got stuck a bunch of times and had to reset the entire story
  
• The game ends right as you start having fun.
  
• Small list of workshop mods to choose from

Would i recommend this?
Maybe, depends if you are ok with spending 20$ for 10 hours of story initially, but still able to play survival, which is on the same map as the story that is fixed and not procedural, which gets old fast.

There are not many games like this sadly, i wish more people would make these kinds of games. The execution of this game, i feel like was done pretty well, i enjoyed the story, and playing the game. I will definitely continue playing this game for fun.
