The Horror tag is very misleading. This game packs more comedy than horror.

Imagine Street Fighter, but it's a turn-based realtime strategy game instead. Doesn't sound confusing at all.

P.S: You'll need friends to play with. There is no singleplayer unless you get yourself a couple mods or feel brave enough to get blasted to death in an online matchmaking

Nothing much to say apart from everyone else. Development team fired, unfinished game, tons of bugs and performance issues still laying around, yet still for sale.

Under no circumstance should you get this game. Get KSP1 instead, you'll get an actually finished product with much better value AND tons of mods if you feel like the base game is lacking stuff or find it too simple.

Late Edit: since then I've 100% completed the game (took me 10h total), and I have to say for what the game offers when you go down the 100% completion route, I highly recommend it (and it's very fair for its price, which is one of the things I criticized in my original review).

I rarely do a pros and cons review type, but I have some things to say here.
Pros:

• Out of the multiple metroidvania games I've played, this is the one with the most interesting powerups I've seen, in the sense that they aren't just "another attack type" or "a direct movement upgrade" like a double jump or a dash.
  
• Charming retro graphics. Although at the beginning I was doubting the scanlines visuals, in the end I think they really make this game stand out and I love it.
  
• The audio design is on-point, and with the absence of distracting walls of text and dialogue, this makes for a very atmospheric game. Please put on headphones for this game.
  
• It is most definitely a well-type game. Good job.

Cons:

• The game feels too short for its current price (25€, 22€ on launch sale). While I didn't 100% complete the game yet (I will be doing this later down the line), it took me 4h to complete the game from beginning to end, and that's considering I already have plenty of platformer experience.
  
• I encountered a few unpleasant difficulty spikes in some areas, most notably some puzzles requiring very tight timing and one particularly annoying section. (the section where you get the mock disc to the second statue to get one of the flames. If you know you know)

Overall I enjoyed my time playing the game, and if you like metroidvania games I'm sure you'll like this one too, although don't expect Hollow Knight levels of metroidvania freedom.

This game has a siren rockband with banger songs and the most meta prank of the century that ruined my best run yet.

12/10, Death to Chronos.

Ok so TL;DR: take every roguelike's run breaking potential and mash it up together in a poker card game.

This game is not just on crack, this game IS crack.

You know, for a game that is essentially just russian roulette with a shotgun, it’s surprisingly very fun and fleshed out.
Compared to the itch release, the new items are very interesting additions.

Honestly for 3 bucks, this game is well worth taking, and it’s replayable as hell. I’d say definitely give it a shot ;)
