The story is like KOTOR 1, so pretty good. You can see most of the plot coming from the start but is still well done.

I miss a lot of character development in conversations from KOTOR 1 and 2. For example the romance in this game is very sudden and forced.

There is a clear problem in the balance of combat and resources, but is not really an issue if you play the game with some care. The combat style is not really to my type but is ok, at least is better than most shooters. I went with pistols with every character and was easy, but is a shame that not all weapons are viable. The main problem for me was getting oneshot by rockets, which was no problem in endgame or if I were to send my companions ahead or cover.

I like the way you can obtain items and solve quest deciphering objects manually and having a backup way to get it if you fail (paying gel). But I think it would be better if you did not need someone in your party skilled enough to try and just leave it all to the actual skill of the player.

Money is tight at first but after some quest you are swiming in money up to the end, so money is pretty much unbalanced in all the game. This is not really a problem because you can still obtain pretty much whatever you need exploring.

So basically this is a very unbalanced game with a great story, another go at the KOTOR formula. The balance problems don't really matter to me because the appeal of the game is the story.
