Waiting for the day they kill the specialist* system. This ain't Battlefield.

Edit for clarity. I meant specialists.

Agreed, specialists/operators were(and still are)an asinine idea to put in a Battlefield title.

DICE/EA tried to trend chase with Apex Legends, Overwatch, MW2019/MW2 with other ideas and it's an absolute mess.

So I remember it being pretty heavy in BF3 and 4, I own BF1 but never really got into it, and 5 I own but have never opened, but I agree that especially with what little I saw of this one before uninstalling it's not present.

Operator/specialist, I didn't consider a distinction. My core complaint just being there is zero team diversity enforced. When's the last time you saw a repair tool or a career medic? And the only time I see people dropping ammo is to keep themselves up.

I don't think the operator system is the problem, although maybe that's because I grew up playing BF3 and 4 and Bad Company 2. I think the problem is the new "specialists" (AKA Black Ops 3 operators).
