The best mech game on the market. Doesn't seem as deep as armored core at first... and its not, but if you look past the surface there is a lot of skill expression to everything you do in this game. The weird gooner stuff could go.

They were working on this game at another company when the project was canceled. They then took all those ideas, skipped the planning phase entirely for this game (normally a year or more) and went right into production and even buying all the same store assets. This is where the problem with this game starts. They have run out of stolen ideas and have absolutely no clue what to do now. They have a full time team working on paid DLC in this, "early access game," and zero people working on balance which leads to mountains of paid skins and emotes and the worst flip floppy balance I've ever seen in a game. The buffs and nerfs in this game seem to come at complete random, like they are throwing a literal dart at a board. Things that are universally hated are added back over and over and over again at random even tho they are proven to be unbalanced, like "+all" stat on gear. Half of the talents, gear, and class abilities are so useless that they are a joke, and every class has a few that are so S tier good and leagues better than the alternatives that they are practically mandatory, making choice and balance a non starter. There has been no real content in the last year and a half and every addition has been extremely minor outside of new classes, which are also a disaster, both functionally and balance-wise. Just invest your time in something else.

Scam bait and switch company says one thing then trys to lie about it. If you live in a country that doesn't allow psn or you just dont want to make one out of principal then avoid this game at all costs.

Paid $100 for this. I have a 13700k a 4080 and have this game on an nvme drive. I played it for 61 hours. Probably half of which was staring at a loading screen, another 10-20 building a base and getting all the resources in one spot, only to figure out it was totally pointless. Every part of this game is disappointing; the story, the characters, the rpg mechanics, the base building, the weapons, any sense of progression. Everything in this game is as empty and soulless as real space.

Don't buy this, don't support this. This is a $70 dlc prettending to be a new game with a new game pricetag. This company is a joke and any money spent on this game is telling them we like to be bent over.

Accidentally started an elvish strip club.

Frustrating glitch that makes your left and right click not work. So common it happens dozens of times per match and every fight is decided by who can actually click their mouse.

Terrible monetization. 10$ a pop per character and you don't earn currency per game. The battlepass only gives you one single characters worth of currency for 40+ hours of grinding.

Balancing is weird too.

I've tried repeatadly to get a refund from steam and directly from cdprojectred DO NOT BUY THIS.

One of the best games ive ever bought. Years of FREE updates that size out to be more than equal to any paid expansion for any game. Addictive and fun alone or with friends.
