The first tape is Dontnod firing all cylinders, building on the lightning on a bottle that was Life is Strange in ways nobody else has been able to. A great setting, interesting and nuanced characters, and thick 90s vibes. If you're itching for a narrative game par excellence, pick it up.

Half-Life, but better. If you want to experience Half-Life, play this.

Dove to dodge a charger, got clipped into a cliff wall while prone and had to fight off a swarm of bugs by myself while my squad cleared the nest. They had a hard time finding me under the pile of corpses to melee me out of the wall. 100/10, great stuff.

Great game with intuitive mechanics, great characters, and excellent writing. Also one of the best soundtracks around.

One of the few games out there where an open world really contributes to the feeling of the game. Stalking through the wilds, gathering resources, hunting and harvesting beasts and machines, good stuff.

The story itself is pretty good, with lots of fun and interesting characters to meet along the way, and Aloy is a treat.

Pros:
-Awesome unit variety, every faction plays very differently and each has it's own very unique campaign.
-Really fun and engaging campaign overall
-Field battles are really fun
Cons:
-Sieges SUUUUUUUUUCK. Like, some of the worst in the series.
-On higher difficulties the AI cheats like crazy and some factions are blatantly more powerful with AI cheats.
