DOOM Eternal improves upon the DOOM 2016 in every possible way. Amazing soundtrack, amazing visuals, top notch optimization, basically no loading screens on an SSD, insanely fast paced and challenging core gameplay with a lot of progression layers and so on... I was at the edge of my seat from the start to the end and probably going to start again for the completionist run with cheat codes and all that crazy stuff.

Edit: Adding kernel level anti-cheat system to a game that most of the players don't even care about the multiplayer is a wrong move, I should not be dealing with this kind of stuff just to play singleplayer campaign.

Edit 2: They removed it fairly quickly, therefore I'm reverting this review back to positive.
