Disclaimer: I haven't played the Game of the Yorha edition, this playthrough was done on the base version of Nier Automata
Disclaimer 02: While other users complain about technical issues, in 55 hours of playtime I've experienced none of these issues baring the game crashing once. Which is quite impressive considering the game is relatively demanding graphically and I'm only running a midrange system on near max settings. as far as these issues go it appears your mileage will vary.

Nier Automata's story will destroy you, this game plays on your emotions. It is a depressing game; but what's more peculiar is the enjoyment and fulfilment resulting from that despair. Never have I enjoyed a product so much that has upset me so greatly. It is this that the game excels at; a marvel of storytelling. The only thing more saddening is that you can only experience these raw unfiltered emotions and the story that provokes them for the first time once. I wish I could detonate my black box and wipe my memories to experience it for the first time again.

This is a game every person should experience.
