I like this game, but I do not recommend it. In my experience most game designers have never been outside to experience even a third of the things they are making games about:

I was homeless for over a year and I find my experience on the street easier than playing this game: people give you money, food, and send their best wishes whereas in this game all my villagers are clothed, housed, and have had a meal every day of their life and yet they are dying of starvation from the 1000 fish they caught last season. Real life is not even this hard. I currently am in a home and I survive on less than $2 of food a day, consisting of pasta and tomato sauce. I am quite content. It is frustrating because i used to love video games and play all kinds and get really engrossed in skill based games but I am convinced that game developers have never done anything besides sit at a desk and dream all day. Just like AAA games like Battlefield and their broken promises, this game will lie to you too because you will see all these nice buildings like the fisherman hut or gatherer's hut and yet as I have described, a village of 10 people cannot make 1000 fish last a season.

I would much prefer it if the buildings which dont do jack are removed so at least I am not coerced by the devs thinking that this building will be effective when it wont. There is one food building only in the game: crop fields. Just remove everything else and stop wasting my time. Seriously. I have been lied and coerced less by methheads on the street than by game devs trying to make a buck. I mean look at them, they sleep on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ concrete they are still sometimes fat and you dont see dead bodies lining major cities. Sure it is because they doing meth, but its not like we are any better drinking 180mg of caffeine (a lesser grade form of methamphetamine) all day.

Im just gonna go stare at a wall or take a walk. Or get a job.
