TLDR: Game is nearly identical to the first in a lot of ways. Prioritized the look and UI of the game over QoL things. UI is cluttered and busy and the combination of clashing UI elements and the world look makes me have sensory overload on occasion. Feels like the game almost should have been in Early Access for its UI alone. I can complain a lot about the bad parts and sound like I hate the game but that's because the negatives are not game breaking and the gameplay is still dope.


Cons:
-Battle UI: It's not worse but it's bad. Albeit probably better looking, that has a lot of clashing. Health bar color under character models is nearly identical to the spell/ability marker on the squares and sometimes the battle scene has red or orange colors that distract from.thw previous two. Hard to see what devices I put on enemies.
-World Map UI: Feels overwhelming. It feels very cluttered or clashing. When you have the unvisited spot question mark, the movement indicator AND enemy range up at once it can get hard to see what you need. There's also random buildings near towns that are visually cool but confusing in the moment on whether it is actually anything important.
-Bugs: they have been releasing patches quickly though. Based on the score for the game I expected more. Did not run into too much that broke the game.
-Information seems to be missing that we should see. A good chunk my complaints about this have been patched it already, e.g. tool tips when hovering in some areas. I know it's part of the game to find things out but but what something
-What does certain things do to the difficulty of the game like taking only 3 characters in to a 3 player game. Is the time saved by having only 1 character per player screwing us?

Neutral:
-Change in style. Its a better looking game. Everything is pretty. But the old style was charming and neat.

Pro:
-Its For the King.
-They didn't charge too much for the game and didn't add micro transactions.
-Feels better with 2 players than FTK1.

One of the best games I've ever played. So much to do. They constantly updated the game giving us more until it got to what it is today.

Basic game at launch that should have been a Early Access game. Since then it has gotten patched and added tons of content. Seems like it is really fun.

Edit: The game keeps getting updated, for free, and went from "Seems like it is really fun." to "How the heck do they keep making it that much better".
