I don't think I can run Cities: Skylines. I only have 2.4Ghz and the NVIDIA GeForce 320M with 256MB. The only things I seem to be able to reach are the OS and disk space.

If you still are at least somewhat interested in simcity, there is hope for at least larger populations, though larger cities seems far fetched. A new expansion is being released on november 12, adding megatowers which are supposed to be buildings of the future. Check out the blog for more information:

Offline mode may arrive at some point, but they are only saying "investigate" and "explore" to describe offline mode, not "working on".

I'm not sure if you still recieve Popular Science, but I found an issue that talked about a new hybrid engine. It used air like a jet engine, but propelled itself like a rocket.
