Early Access Review
KSP2 is a sequel whose promise is establishing a sleeker, stabler engine to be built upon than the original, whose community built features abound but suffer from bloated loading times and difficult setup.

What they have shown thus far betrays a total inability to deliver on that promise. The bugs experienced in this bare-bones outline of a game are best described as comprehensive. By their own admission, multiple major systems need to be completely redone in order for the game to be performant. Yet 7 months on, we don't even have the basics of re-entry heating enabled in the game, a feature that surprised everyone in its omission and would be the very first added since EA launch.

Make no mistake, what IS enabled is a dysfunctional mess with serious optimization issues. One can only imagine how badly the parts of the project are going that they aren't even willing to show.

Save your money, and while you're at it, write down the names involved in this farce for next time.

The unlikely sequel that has accomplished an impossible task. It is actually worthy of the name and the legacy that comes with it.

BG2 has been among my all-time favorites for over twenty years, and it was never a game that needed a sequel. Spiritual successors and relatives perhaps, as narratively it was complete. Nevertheless BG3 is a story that is better for its history, and an experience that looks to carry the same torch that the originals lit.

The sort of hook that once you finish, has you hungry to start all over again.

I enjoyed and supported this game, but it needed updates to smooth out the rough edges. Unfortunately it has been abandoned in favor of the Quest exclusive version, which has been getting the love.

Pros:
- Neat use of finger tracking gesture mechanics
- You can shoot finger guns and launch your fist through the air
- Yes really, you won't see that anywhere else

Cons:
- No particular structure or narrative or graphics to speak of
- Terrible audio cues leave enemies constantly sneaking up behind you
- Rudimentary interface that gets firmly in its own way
- The menu is just a physical interface pasted all over the place as checkpoints
- Wide variety of random melee weapons that are awkward and pointless for the player to use
- Didn't even close properly when I quit the game, I had to set down my headset and go Alt-F4

Verdict:
I'm surprised that this game isn't Early Access, because it is the kind of Early that makes people go "Wow, I'm not sure I wanted Access to that yet." But I spent less than $5 on this hot mess and I don't regret it.

Early Access Review
(Experienced with HTC Vive and Valve Index)

This game delivers on the promise of Early Access like no other, because Anton's passion and attention to detail are unprecedented. If I had to list my top three must-have VR titles they would be Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades.

Hands down the best arcade racer with VR support. Flight controls are awkward with a wheel but it's completely worth using one. If you've ever wanted to step inside Tron Legacy, this will hit the spot.

This is a very fun, simple game. Not a lot of depth, but it's a unique experience to VR.

This is an excellent twist on your typical 360 wave shooter. Kind of like Space Pirate Trainer, but with a vibranium frisbee. Steve Rogers would be proud!

Don't buy this game unless you intend to play it on a controller. It is not compatible with keyboard and mouse controls. I don't mean that this is the "proper" experience, you literally cannot play the game with the mouse without throwing it out a window.
