I loved and played Empires a lot on MP. So I bought this game when it released, to help the devs, but waiting 1 min after each turn, and unrealistic accumulation of great wealth only from fictional selling of regional decisions (no need to do anything else), made me not play this game more than 2-3 days.

After 6 months, turn wait feels faster, like half, but the unrealistic selling off regional decisions are still there, so no point in playing (SP or MP). Dev confirmed it is intentional, to help small nations, so will not remove them.

I thought I bought a historical game, not a fictional / pseudo-historical one, where (small) players are helped a lot by an unrealistic mechanic that did not exist in real history. I wasted my money on a game I will never play.

I love the full-screen Royal Court, it makes the game much more immersive than the small event images in dialog windows. I really hope they will add this feature to all characters you choose to play.

I love and played a lot grand strategy historical games (FOGE, CK3, and before EU4, CK2, even tried IR), and bought this game just because I wanted to give another developer a chance (and money). But after I tried 2-3 times to play this game, the learning curve is too steep, even for a "veteran" like me. Nothing is intuitive in this game, starting from the main menu (I could not figure it out how to play with a specific country, for instance), to the in-game buttons and panels with info (even a slider I discovered by accident you can drag it to adjust how much money to invest, I guess). While I do not mind the plain colors of the map provinces, the UI graphics (buttons, sliders, text, panels, etc.) is horrible and cannot stand it! I cannot play like this, and I regret my investment in this game, as I do not think it will be improved.
