Best (use of) magic in any game. It's fun to play in 4 on the couch on tv (connected to PC) with gamepads.

Fun at first until you figure out the strategy to get level 3 creatures with biggest stats as soon as possible. Also too much RNG/randomness for any strategy to be almost always reliable.

Early Access Review
The game looks amazing, much better than Dawn of Man (even with my Realistic Stone Age mod). I will update with a proper review after I will play some more, but so far I can say this (compared to DOM):
- You can choose to start playing from 10,000 BC up to 3500 BC, and the end of the last glacial age is depicted on the overview map, as it shows how snow evolves from one date to another, even from summer to winter (I do not know if anything else changes). In DOM you can only play in 10,000 BC.
- You can migrate your tribe anywhere in western Europe, time passes when migrating, and map is generated accordingly when your tribe arrives at destination, with same rivers and coastal areas (and probably climate) as in the overview map. DOM lacks this, just a few predefined maps.
- The 3D graphics and landscape are amazing, maybe similar to Kingdom Come Deliverance, and way better than DOM.
- The 2D interface (menus/panels) is more beautiful and more complex than DOM, but this makes it less intuitive.
- You can build around 19 buildings (3 huts, fireplace, dryer, oven, storage area, religion stone, mill, tanner, well, basket, haystack, pit, 2 fences, palisade, stone wall, clear area). I've heard animals, hunting, megaliths, raiders and many other features from DOM are not yet implemented, but they are confirmed to be present at release.

If you plan to buy this unfinished game, think VERY carefully if you like it as it is now. Do not buy it just to complain later you did not know and leave a negative review and ask for refund. You have plenty of reviews and gameplays on Youtube (even I posted a 4K gameplay video FYI), so you have no excuse to complain you wasted your money. The game is not expensive for what it will offer at release. You pay for the future release game, not for the current EA (I do not think the devs can sell it cheaper in EA, and force you to pay more and more as the game improves, to cover the full release price). Let me know your thoughts.

Early Access Review
I've played this game for about 15 hours (ignore Steam's hours on record, as I've pinned the game to the taskbar, and Steam doesn't seem to count if started like this), and the game is actually playable and fun. Graphics are good enough. I love the fact that the devs are trying to create a more realistic simulation of an open world, especially the fact that what NPCs do and the quests they give are not scripted, but based on what they need and want.

There are still a few issues though, but I hope they will be fixed soon. I will leave a proper review after I will play some more, just wanted to recommend this game for those who like realistic simulation games.

Interesting concept. Recommended for strategy gamers who like advancing tech more than conquering and painting the map.

Just to be clear: my wife plays this game, not me :))

If I had to review this game, I would give it a negative recommendation, simply because there are games that I like more, like Skyrim (better in everything, except it doesn't have multiplayer) or Field of Glory Empires (better expecience in multiplayer).
