Monotonous. That's how I would describe this game. I would compare it to a Sid Meier's Civ game in terms of playability however.

Only fault is that the game is riddled with bugs, always has been. I've played the non-Steam version and that was buggy, going through reviews on Steam and it's more of the same. Held back from buying because of the bugs but decided what the heck, it's 8 bucks. Installed, crashes on start, expected that, was easy enough to fix.

Game apparently doesn't install the redists properly, they're all located in the games install folder minus VC++ 2005. Install those, reboot and good to go.
