2 beautiful story missions (and some stuff) added to an already great game.
You do NOT need this DLC to play the 'New York' and 'Haven Island' maps in Freelancer mode!!

Also, thank you IOI for providing us with a steam store version of an IQ test.

The description of this DLC literally says it "will grant access to the locations from 'HITMAN 2 - Expansion Pass' in HITMAN 3." That's exactly what it does. Nothing more, nothing less.
It's like people can't read. Or they don't want to.

Considering the on-foot content is the supposed focus of this add-on, it is a complete joke. Every single part of gameplay is half-baked, the AI is trash, the balance is trash, the stealth mechanics are trash.
Wanna do a mission stealthily? Be prepared to get stared at by every single NPC within 20m /60ft range for just moving a muscle. I do not kid. As soon as you tap a movement key, you become the focus of their attention. Start crouching and suddenly you can be right behind them and they don't notice. At least until the NPC decides to do a random jiggle for no reason, semi-turning and noticing you anyway.
You completed you task of disabling power in a settlement, turn on your night vision and wanna get back to your ship? Even though you did not raise any attention before, suddenly any NPC will open fire at you anyway.
You just checked your inventory to make sure you don't carry any prohibited items that could be discovered by scans? Be ready for the dice to fall, because they might still find you guilty of theft upon scanning you and instantly kill you. And yes. It might take them only 1 shot if you don't have your shields up.
Talking of scans, since you are an outsider you are considered super suspicious and have to submit to scans every 2 minutes. So forget carrying around illegal items/data that could be discovered on scans. Hijacked an ID to get through a door or access a panel? Better be fast before the next scan or you will have to wipe your stolen ID real quick, which is not even bound to a key by default.
You just found out that you can use your power tool in overcharge mode to zap NPCs and knock them out in 1 hit as long as their shields are not up? You will still get a bounty for taking out NPCs who don't have a bounty themselves.

So you think 'Alright, stealth seems like a pain, lets just go in prepared for combat and mess them up the good old way'. Like in the base game, you will not get anywhere without heavy upgrades/engineering for both suits and weapons. But getting the required materials for upgrades is even harder because you actually need hard to come by materials from those outposts that you can't stealth, and can't clear on foot either. Guess you can try and use your SRV to kill NPCs, and hope that they don't have a goliath drone flying around to shred your vehicle.
Think of using your ship cause ships are big and powerful? Think again because your ship has the combat power equivalent of a NPC enforcer. Which is also why you can't just easily escape a settlement after becoming hostile, unless you disabled the settlement's defences first, for which you need to get into the command center and get out alive.
Countless the complaints of players trying to use their ships to kill NPCs only to discover they don't stand a chance, because even if they were able to hit them, the damage dealt is a joke. While taking damage from soldiers that comes close to an engineered anaconda shooting your ship.
You can see... all this is just custom made to piss off the players. And while i imagine that playing in a team of 4 makes things quite a bit easier, both stealth and combat wise, this still seems like a total scam.
Mind you, Odyssey has been out for 2 years now, after a playtest phase where players ALREADY pointed out all the shortcomings, and still they have not bothered to improve things. Instead they come up with more lore and global events that you cannot even partake in, unless you first google how to do it, follow guides, and grind materials for hours and hours; but that belongs in a base game review, i suppose.
