Awful post-release support. Patches require full redownloads of the game, with release notes as brief as "stability and performance improvements"

A reminder to not buy games on release - wait until their first post-release sale. The hours of waiting for patches to download make me feel like a sucker.

Yet, it's still a very good game. There is far too much padding - I get fatigued by the exploration and minigames which are a grind - but the main story is as fun to play through as any Final Fantasy game. I wish there were less of it, like Part 1: the scope has bloated and it doesn't work out well. you will waste a lot of time, but there is a fun time to be had here.

Get this game on sale.
