I must admit, I went from being intrigued by this game to liking it, loving it, and enjoying it, and then back to loving it again. The plot and characters in this game captivated me in a way that no other game has in a long time, and the soundtrack, gameplay, and bosses are all flawless. With 18 chapters packed to the brim with fantastic character moments, stunning pieces of music, and more boss fights than you could wish for, this game blew me away. Final Fantasy VII Remake is fantastic because it appeals to a whole new generation of gamers with modernized combat and substantially better visual, it's well worth playing even if you haven't played the original.

A second part of the remake that introduced quite a few changes and new features, starting with open-world adventure gameplay (something that FFVII Remake didn't have) and continuing with the expansion of the lore, focusing more on the most interesting themes such as the life current or the Cetra, adding a political and religious that leaves a more complex and interesting world.
Not to mention a better connection to Crisis Core, a superior development of the main characters and a huge number of minigames, starting with the outstanding card game Queen's Blood, Chocobo races or everything that awaits us in the remembered Gold Saucer.

I've already played this game on my Base PS5 and it was a horrible experience I would say. Graphics mode in terms of visual fidelity is absolutely breathtaking, but you will have to get used to 30 fps. The performance mode however made the game looks smooth, of course 60 fps will always feel smoother but it’s just not worth playing this gorgeous game that blurry mess. But at the end of the day I simply refuse to play the game at 30 fps and beat the game on performance mode.

And after meeting the exclusivity period on PS5, and after sales that have not been as good as Square Enix expected, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second part of the FFVII Remake, finally lands on PC. And yes I bought it again on PC despite already putting 100+ hours into the PS5 version. Because not only is it an amazing game, I also really want to let Square know this trilogy is worth the money.

In terms of content, we're talking about the same game as on PS5, there's nothing new, no Intergrade edition that adds a new plot, like in the move from PS4 to PS5, or anything like that. But Rebirth on PC delivers impressive and smooth visuals, and no more blurry, the lighting system feel more natural the overall atmosphere of the game has been raised to a higher level and the soundtrack was as good as is expected with these titles.

All that aside this game is a stunning reimagination of the original Final Fantasy VII, a game that I hold near and dear to my heart. I highly recommend playing this game especially if you're a JRPGs fan like myself
