This game is a great reason to get VR if you don't already. It's very easy to get started in it now because of the tutorial. The community is always interesting, but good most of the time.

As a kid I'd always wanted to play paintball because I figured it'd kinda be like playing Halo but without a controller. I played Airsoft with some friends and a borrowed gun, but the fun came at the cost of the experience in terms of money and work, since the guns can get expensive and heavy. If I were to have gotten into paintball or airsoft, I'd be always paying for paintballs or pellets too.

I feel like Pavlov grants one the ability to have that experience in the comfort of their home.
The workshop for this game adds so much variation that becoming bored of the game is a near impossibility.
Even playing the same maps over and over again can be a different experience based on who you're playing with and how everyone's feeling that day.
I highly recommend playing Gun Game to improve your skill at the game. You learn how each gun handles itself, and get used to quick aiming and hip firing.

Also, imagine a version of dodgeball that replaces the dodgeballs with grenades, and you have Nadeball. There's also a version with knives.
Zombie survival is now a built in mode, very fun.
Prop Hunt for those who are feeling patient/low energy, along with TTT.
