This game is toilet sounds. Even being free, I feel like I deserve a refund.

Absolutely love this game.

pros: For a relatively lightweight game it's beautiful. I'm not one for aesthetics but you can make really beautiful bases and fortresses. Many hours sailing the seas with friends, calling out sea monsters and spotting things and new areas. The music is stellar, too. Constant skill progression to increase damage and lower stamina cost is really nice, always feels like you're moving forward towards something even when mindlessly chopping trees or killing mobs.

cons: The chores can be a bit taxing at times, some mods help remedy that and keep duties within reason (autofueler for kilns and smelters, autostacker for dumping inventory into the appropriate chests.) Otherwise you end up playing inventory management simulator for hours. I'm a hoarder and want to keep everything I find but that can get overwhelming, opening dozens of chests looking for something you know you had but can't seem to find. A craft-from-chests mod is a must have for that. Overall, mostly me problems.

devs: c'mon I'm no programmer but it's been what, 2 years now and we're only on v0.2? Get to work! There seems to be a really solid foundation here. I can't wait to see what the end product will be.

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to have a fever dream while on acid AND mushrooms... I think this game will answer that question.

At first I didn't like it because I'm a die hard Left 4 Dead 1 person and nothing has had the same feel since. Got in with a group of 3 friends with some coordination and it really made the experience that much better.

Really enjoying this game. It's very similar to Ark, as it's got a bit of a learning curve but not nearly as steep or punishing as Ark. If you like Valheim, you'll like this. Definitely worth the 30 bucks. Though it's not terribly solo-player friendly at times.
