Very fun game. Still seems unfinished, there are alot of things that just... Don't do what they should. Pets don't ever move. There are unfinished quests. Some rewards do literally nothing. I know they are planning on doing more in the future, but now there are a lot of roadblocks.

Still a lot of things to do and much fun to be had.

(Pre-release with 5 hours)If you liked Rogue Legacy, you'll love this game. Still missing a lot of features, but it is obvious the devs have lots more in the works. I miss some of the cheesier aspects of the first game that so far are missing (looking at you, miner and your ability to make almost infinite money) but the new cheese sure is tasty! I really hope this continues and grows and grows. Already good. Hoping for great

All my wildest dreams and more! The upgrades are much more varied and especially the heirloom system is amazing and allows so many interesting and unique play styles. I still can't get the hang of the archer or some other ranged classes, but the new lich-king is so fun to play. Many of the new fabled weapons (alternate versions of the standard weapons) are so quirky and powerful if you understand them. And the replayability is off the charts because of the varied methods of killing stuff and exploring.

I especially appreciate the few ways of randomizing your heirlooms and your character. You can get a beefy pirate with the astromancer's weapon, allowing a really interesting and overpowered build with other things. Overall, I couldn't ask for more, even though the devs are still going to be releaasing some new things down the pipeline. Thoroughly satisfied.

It's a little pricey to get expansions. I played the board game for years now, but recently I moved away from my groups. This helps me with my fix really. I wish there was some better reward system in place. This would have been a great opportunity to unlock more variants of heroes, villains, or even environments. Maybe have some "digital exclusive" cards or something. Or just cosmetic stuff. Different card borders, a kind of story mode, something like that. I think tat would have really brought something cool to the game.

Imagine: You start of as one of the freedom five, and another member joins you after one round. The two of you have to defeat a story-altered Baron Blade (maybe only 15 hp or something, and some cards removed/tweaked). Afterwards, the other member joins your party and the two of you can recruit other heroes to fight alongside with. And the bad guys get progressively more dangerous and varied. You travel the multiverse fighting threats, until you end with a superfight agains OblivAeon.

I think something like that could make this game really special, As it stands, it's just like the physical game, but there's no house rules or anything. Which can maybe take something out of it. I'd LOVE to see community content in this

Starbound is infinitely customizable, infinitely explorable, and infinitely moddable. Fantastic game. The Frackin Universe mod makes it REALLY complicated, and much more challenging. It takes getting used to, to be sure. But overall fantastic experience.

This is a wonderful game. Great presentation, very fun mechanics.

I love the variety of gameplay in this title. One minute you are fighting monsters with your two friends, the next you are commanding an army to vanquish your rivals. Then you are takig a break with some management. Overall nicely paced. I never have nothing to do in this game.

The visuals are spectacular. Not as nice, perhaps as the first Ni No Kuni, as far as sheer beauty and art style. But it stays pretty true to the Ghibli idea. It's still breathtaking to just look out into the landscape and imagine the world.

Some of the character choices are interesting. I feel like many are pretty one note, and some of the creatures can get repetitive at times. there are really only a few different kinds of monsters, just with reskins and some slight retextures often. But still fun to battle (most of the time)

I look forward to pouring ever more hours into this masterpiece. And I look forward to the DLC that is coming soon!

Great Game. There are lots of different ways to play so far, from the more passive hacking doors open so the prisoners kill their captors, to breaking through the walls at full speed to tackle everyone inside. Great Game...

If Estival Versus doesn't come out soon, someone is getting punched. And not sexy-punched, either.

Pros:
-Writing: Being a Gearbox game, get ready for some fairly typical Gearbox writing a la Borderlands. The characters are unique, funny, expository, and never really shut up. If you like that character, awesome! If not... You can always turn the voices off.
-Characters: Design wise, every Hero looks like they come from a disparate world, with rocket hawks, nihilist AIs, Giant Lumberjacks, Elf ladies, steampunk robots, mushrooms, etc.
-Helix system: Every game you get to choose between two (or three) specific powerups for your skills that give you more options with how you play. I tend to side very strongly with certain powerups over others, but sometimes changing gives you a different way to use your skills.
-Co-op: A great part about this game is you can choose to run through instances with friends or randos and all work together to achieve something. As someone who prefers Co-op over Competitive, this is appreciated. I like that there is a story, and although the small number of instances makes them somewhat repetitive, there are opportunities for the developers to introduce new chapters. And every instance is different, which is a plus.
-Gamefeel: Everything seems designed around actually having fun while playing the same maps repeatedly, so there are different options for how to get to somewhere, which adds a nice spin on a match if your team decides to take the scenic route.
-SIngleplayer: I can play this game by myself to practice with a hero, and still have fun. SIngleplayer is generally pretty rough, as they don't scale back the enemies enough, but overall it's a nice change of pace to play by yourself and try out some new skills.

Cons:
-Matchmaking: If you want to play competitively, be prepared to wait a good twenty minutes for matchmaking. If you want to play anything besides Incursion, be prepared to wait longer. Further, there is no semblance of balance in matchmaking, so you can be the only lvl 3 in a room of level 80s+, prompting me to ask what's taking matchmaking so damn long.
-Balance: They are constantly tweaking Heroes and skills, but there are still some pretty noticeable balance issues. You will almost NEVER play in a match without an Alani, because she is new, so they want to make her overpowered a bit so people will try her out. I get it, but it sucks when I'm laying rounds and rounds into her and she won't freaking do anything because she is godly and I'm only a level twelve and the person playing Alani is level 92 and I am just trying to like this game and AAAAAHHHHHH

Overall an amazing game that I would recommend and have recommended to people
