Ignore the surprising amount of negative reviews. I have no idea why there are so many.

Quick thoughts:
- This game plays so smoothly and runs so well. I wish every game was optimised to this level.
- The gunplay feels amazing, so clean and impactful. Honestly one of the best I've ever played in that department and I've played tons of shooters for almost 30 years.
- The graphics are clean, artistic and colourful. Sound is just as good.
- Queue times are fast even right now in beta. Population will be increasing for a while
- Monetised as you would expect with a cosmetics shop and a battle pass. Nothing crazy and nothing that gives an advantage. Totally optional. No part of the actual game is paywalled as far as I can tell - you can play and do everything without spending anything. They get bonus points for having enough of the currency in a battle pass to buy the next battle pass once you get far enough.
- It's not COD, Gears, CS, Siege or a hero shooter or anything like any of those. Think faster paced Halo or quake, without the grenades and vehicles, but with portals. Aim and movement based. A lot of fun.

Only negative so far is intermittent server issues (login queues, and game being offline at one point). It is literally a beta still under development at the time of writing so that's to be expected. When fully released I would be surprised if this was an issue as all signs are good so far imo.

Overall a straight up very fun game with no BS - very rare in 2025. This is about to be pretty popular imo, just like the original. I'll be playing a lot more!

If you aren't autistic already then you will be after playing this, but you wont even care. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing!

Once you get past the first four levels (they're basically tutorials in disguise) it's tons of fun. The game is easy to learn but hard to master, Play it on as hard a difficulty as you can. The higher the difficulty, the more fun it is.
