yes its got a pay system, but the Aucton House system is actually really cool overall. you can grind in game to sell items for irl money coins and stuff to buy other thitngs etc.

yo wtf. whats up with all the negative reviews that are 80% positive comments with a minor complaint?!

this is actually so sad. this game is probably the only mech game ive liked its movement this much. this has some pay options yeah, but littearlly every F2P game will have the same thing. so if the gameplay is good, the graphics are good, and the movement is good, shouldnt people be more positive about this??

genuinely sad. amazing game. hope it releases soon.

I reccomend the 3x hp / 2.5x dmg mods 😈
oh and palico heal nerf.

Co op sold for 4, litterally says "assemble a team with up to 4 players" (EDIT: this was removed. good on them but im keeping this negative as co op is "in beta" (unplayable) and thats not mentioned directly anywhere either.),
doesnt mention its only 2 unless you read obscure mentions in the patchnotes.

this is not an acceptable level of honesty for a EA game.

Yeah then its worth mentioning on the page that in its current form it does not include these features. This is misleading at best , basically lieing at worst.

Is this seriously what we want EA games to become?
a search and find puzzle for accurate data on what we are gonna spend our money on?

(there is actually a very high skill ceiling for this game, one that is continously being raised by the community via emergent gameplay. I heavily reccomend if your looking to feel a realistic challenge)

is what the discription says and I couldnt agree more. A lost genre revitalized, with but a few quirks that could make it better.

What do I find so impressive about this game, that it even tho made 2017 it should still be in your library today?

Well This has to be due to the creator(s) spending time to analyze the way silent hill 1/2 worked on their respective era of consoles , which also had limited resources.

From grainy textures that you cant make out yet still fill you with dread. (is that rust? blood? both? mold? muck? decay? i cant tell and it just makes me more unnerved)

To sound archetecture that builds a constnat feeling of unease , varying from empty quiet hums and scratches- to heavy paranoia driving droning synths and disgusting squelching.

It seems they really took alot of keynotes of how to make something feel both scary and expansive, whil having little to work with.

Ontop of that the survival horror is ACTUAL REAL in this. Low ammo, too many enemies, not much health- and a fear of whats around every corner.

Oh yeah thats a good point , FORCED PERSEPECTIVE ELEMENTS IN VR?? yeah. actually that. its wild. Somehow they used the doors like ps1/2 games did , and the corners of walls, and the distance fog- to create this senseof needing to hesistate before you cross thresholds you cant view. sometimes with sound, sometimes with the unknown.

You cant see into this apartment- but you can HEAR something ...eating?...right around the bend. It causes pause and instills a sense that you need to crawl on your stomach through various points.

I also loved that they made the map system so manual, as it adds more fear and pressure as to when do you use it and what your sacrificing while doing so (light, focus).

Lastly the design on the enemies and space is done really well aswell. I was expecting really weak looking monsteres but im glad to say i wasnt dissapointed. More keynotes from silent hill- body horror and common tryphophobia based terrors.


Cons :
Id say this games cons are obvious. it was made in 2017 so :

(FAKE CON) Its reloading system is clunky, and shooting is kind of off (but this personally only makes it more silent hill like)

Its textures on the hands have low animations

I hear its short but ive been taking my time on hard mode so i havent gotten there yet

the sound design while amazing is a bit sparce. it does it waht it needs to but with a remaster this game could shine even more.

the puzzles could be more difficult

well all in all i definatly reccomend this and view it as a gem that many people have missed.
Very early vr but actually good early vr. Defintly try this.
