And surprisingly enough, there is a mode in between Easy and Hard, in fact, it defaults to normal, you can just say you're bad at the game instead of whining about the story. There's more SP options other than Story Mode, Conquest is a personal favorite, single or co-op without the PvP aspect. Granted, conquest can get to a point where it gets very difficult, but with perseverance, anything is possible :)

Northgard is a fantastic game, the devs are releasing new content and free updates as well to add a little extra to the game, but I'd be happy even if it stayed in the state it is. It's a little annoying having to pay for additional clans, but I bought the game bundled and on sale, so I'm not complaining. I'm an achievement ♥♥♥♥♥ so I welcome any fun game with a multitude of them.

So grab a friend and play some Conquest. :)

I had looked forward to this game as soon as it was announced, and eagerly bought it when it came out. Initially, I was very disappointed, but continued playing regardless, having spent $60 on the game.

A few releases ago, there was improvement, with adding bases and options of owning several ships. I enjoyed it, but over all felt as if it was missing something. Being a sandbox player normally, I was excited to find different planets and lifeforms, all varying from eachother, but instead found that a lot of the planets were the same with minor changes. I found that at first, the animals were exciting, but quickly felt like it was just a bunch of presets, with different colors slapped onto them, and ultimately made exploring pointless to me.

Now, after returning after not playing for a while, I noticed several of my upgrades for my ship/exosuit/multi-tool were gone, the only thing left were parts I could scrap for components. I was disappointed... AT FIRST. Until I realized ALL THE NEW UPGRADE CONTENT. Better improvements, more in-depth customization and overall stronger utilities. All of the new content, including worlds, an improved discovery page, cosmetic options and several other, have made the game interesting again. I am a little upset having put so much time into gathering resources for things, and losing them, but am eager to find better improvements in several different space stations.

If you like exploring, discovering new lifeforms, space combat, gathering resources and finding a planet to call your home and build your very own base on with practically no limitations, I would recommend this game. If you hate grindy games, and really working hard for gear, then move along.

This game has proven to be very addicting. I've played over 100 hours and still find plenty to do, from trying to earn very expensive items to trying to unlock every achievement. I love love LOVE that there is so much to do (and not enough time in the in-game day to complete it all)! Also very fun to play with friends, and work together on progressing your farm. <3
