Quite fond of the game, though it does have a few problems.

Lots of atmosphere. Lots of areas to explore. Lots of secrets to find. Charming, if simplistic, characters. Cool lore to dig into. I've never played King's Field, but it did come close enough to scratching that Arx Fatalis itch, if that means anything to you. Mostly in the dungeon crawling atmosphere.

Unfortunately, as people have said, the combat is very simplistic. You fight each enemy pretty much the same way. All of them punish you for being close, none of them punish you for spamming them at range. Also you'll need a LOT of patience when finding your way through the labyrinthine levels. There is no map and many of the hallways look identical. The different areas are quite varied, though, and it's always a treat to reach a new one.

There is some interesting lore if you're looking for it, but the story is pretty much nonexistent. I had no clue what the ultimate goal of the game was until a few seconds before it was over. This is not an exaggeration. And even then I'm not sure I fully grasped it, while all the characters acted as if I was supposed to understand what was going on. I kinda would have preferred to be given a basic objective at the start to fumble my way towards, learning more about the implications of it as I progress. But this game is meant to evoke the feeling of being in a dream, so maybe it works better this way.

Finally there are some technical problems. Some of the cool filters can make some text utterly unreadable. The game has a manual, but you can't view it from the main menu. The most annoying thing to me is how keybinds are handled. When you try to rebind keys, it opens a text file that you have to painstakingly edit yourself. It's not good.

This might sound more negative than positive, but it's just hard to articulate the charm of the game. It really does feel like a lucid dream at times. Overall it's just a really neat game and you should give it a try. Remember to bump up the difficulty slider!

What a fantastic demo! If you've stumbled across this and are wondering if it's worth putting an hour or two into, I'll tell you straight off that it is. Totally free, and it's got me looking forward to the full release. Even made me tear up a little.

Everything here -- from the art, to the music, to the characters and their stories -- is delightful. This game is bursting with charm. The puzzles are pretty simple, but it is only the first area. I can't wait to see the town and all the characters that live (or, don't live) there! You only spend a short time with Rosa and Flora, but already I was so attached to them and invested in their story. I hope we learn a little bit more about Kulebra himself and his personality in the full game.

Also this game is looking insanely polished. There was one misspelled word, "exploited," on the stone tablet in the sanctuary (English version), and that's literally the only thing that went wrong or felt off for the couple hours that I played. If you told me this was published by Nintendo I'd believe it. Great work, can't wait to play the full game!

Pretty fun game, fantastic character study of a woman struggling with severe psychosis and heavy guilt. The plot can be a bit difficult to follow, but that's by design, and watching the documentary after you beat the game will clear things up. I cried a few times. Play it.

If you have Skyrim, install and play this immediately. If you don't have Skyrim, buy it and then play Enderal instead. It's that good.
