It's... fine. I don't play this often, but it's kinda relaxing. The biggest problem is that you have to launch the game to update it, instead of updating it the same way every other game on steam does. This means that my actual play time is about 10% of that shown in my stats. Case in point, I planned to have a look at it today so I launched it last night to download the 60GB update. Yeesh.

But for what it is trying to achieve, it does it well. There's a variety of planes to fly, and the world map is well executed. It's got what you can reasonably expect from a game like this, and was the sort of experience I was thinking the game would become when playing this at a science centre back in the late 90s. Seeing my home city's airport rendered in game is nice, complete with its long journey to taxi to the runway. I wonder if Parafield Airport can be flown from as well... Hmm, I'll need to have a look.
