This game is super addictive. I really hope they work out some of the balance issues and annoyances.

If you put stat points into anything other than int early on, you are a fool. If you want to try to build a balanced party, you're also being foolish. This seems like a game where you should decide on one or two duties for each pirate, but in reality you can make superhero pirates, and that's kind of no fun.

Exploring islands is fun for a little while. Blowing up ship after ship is also challenging. After a while, it's just another ship or another island, and you either clear them easily or they are impossible with very little in between.

I recommend this game, because I liked it in spite of these weaknesses, but if this were the release I wouldn't.

Is this a gamer propaganda film? Even more, it seems to be directed at DOTA.

They talk about excessive gaming as if it's a legitimate way to make a living or as if the gamers are some sort of great artists. Gaming is entertainment, but physical ability and body awareness clearly don't have that much to do with APM and game tactics or gamers would be able to pick up sports more easily. The fact is that society just doesn't look up to gamers the way it looks up to other entertainers. This film not only tries to say gaming will eventually get there, but it acts like it already has. Pfft..

The propaganda aspect and all the comparisons to athletes irritates me so much, I couldn't even get through it.

Woah, way worse than I expected. My system is fine to play most games, but this one there's about a 0.5 second delay between input and response. The multiplayer system is wacky, having the game pause for a while to wait for people to join. Awful feel. So glad I didn't buy it, as I kind of enjoyed the first Payday.

Don't bother, the PC version is abandoned.

It's free and worth a look. A little action, a little strategy, and pretty funny. If they charged for it, I'd say pass.

Problems include balance that is totally off and a pay-to-win option.

Certain defenses are really powerful and others are practically useless. That means that most higher level castles use the same defenses. Gameplay is fun for a few hours, but lacks depth and variety past that.

I was pretty disappointed when I tried to buy something that I couldn't afford with in-game money and it asked if I'd like to use my real money to pay for it. Doesn't seem like a P2W, but deep down it is.

It's fun.

The weapons are very satisfying. Multiplayer is great if you can find a team.

Endless mode unfortunately comes down to mobs that have too much health to actually kill.

I love roguelike games. This is a little buggy, but it's indie and they are actively fixing them.

This is a fun game. Enemies are a little dumb, though.
