Spilled! is a bite-sized cozy experience. You motor around a small boat, cleaning up oil spills, collecting trash and rescuing animals. The pixel art is beautiful and it feels fantastic watching the bodies of water gradually clear up the more waste you clean up.

Your boat can be upgraded in terms of speed, oil capacity and the skimming device in the front of the boat that collects oil itself. It feels nice watching your little boat's capabilities grow more powerful over time, though I would admit all of the speed upgrades felt underwhelming. This doesn't detract from the cozy experience which most players will complete in 1-2 hours. While some players may balk at the price tag, I cannot think that making it a longer experience would have made it more pleasant- it is a lovely compct experience. I would encourage doubters to consider that this is a solo developed game and a lovely proof of concept. Not sure what the dev has planned next but it has anything like the level of polish seen here, I will definitely pick it up.
