Yes, Blizzard f**ed up. I'm really disappointed for the cancelled PvE mode and they have been seeing all the backslash for this decision. And yes, the In-Game shop and its pricing is a joke - with prices beyond an acceptable limit.

But having this said - it is still a fun game. I still enjoy playing, especially with friends, and remains - over many years - being one of my main games.

I personally think Free-To-Play was the right move to keep the game alive for a longer time, as people generally tend to want everything for free anyway. This allowed a lot of players starting in the world of Overwatch and make the game more alive.


Why positive? Because it's fun. I do really appreciate the Steam release and the native Steam integration in this game - no Battle.net launcher is needed at all to play. Even the Steam friends are natively integrated in the game and, compared to other AAA-publishers (looking at you, Ubisoft) they managed to include achievements too.

Even when Blizzard is doing quite some crap recently (shop pricing, removed PvE modes, etc), it's unfortunately still fun with friends. While it deserves some bad rating, the game doesn't deserve being the worst game on Steam.
