So far a simple but fun and cute sidescrolling platformer with a predictable yuri story. The movement is a bit floaty and there is a fair amount of momentum, making platforms a little hard to stop on sometimes. The hitboxes are also a little hard to judge, making landing on enemies sometimes causing a stomp as you would expect and other times making you take damage.

A wonderful 3D automate-em-up. FPS factory building at its finest.

This game is a wonderful love letter to the SCP community while also being a beautiful and brutal third-person shooter. For those who love lore but don't like brutal difficulty there is also an assist mode which allows you to bask in the amazingly crafted world, superb writing, and top-notch acting. The combat is fluid and fun with the addition of psychic powers such as psychokinesis and levitation as well as a partially destructible world and crazy debris physics.

I would recommend this game to anyone, but if you love third-person shooters, the "hidden terrifying world" horror genre, or well-told cinematic stories this game is a must-play.

A generic pixel anime game with strangely written dialog and slightly off animations.

I played this game on PS4 and loved it. I bought it for Windows to have the experience again, with better graphics and extras, but after 10 hours (which is nothing for a Final Fantasy) the issues were just too great to continue. The game stutters horribly, especially during battles, making it almost impossible to react to battle conditions in real-time. Even on the lowest resolution and graphics settings, on my machine with an Intel Core i7 9750H CPU, 32GB RAM, and an Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 the game regularly drops frames, sometimes hanging up to 5 seconds before starting to respond again. For comparison, I played through Doom Eternal, on max graphics settings, at 4k resolution (with Nvidia DLSS) at mostly 60fps with only occasional drops to 40 or 50 fps.

I also tried various online suggestions to fix the stuttering with very little effect. The Special K mod made the biggest difference but I still saw stuttering and hangs for multiple seconds with that.

Unfortunately, Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is a bust due to the performance issues.

It's hard to explain why this game has become one of my favorites in such a short time. The Witness is visually striking, even with minimal texturing and obvious facets on objects. The attention to detail, though, seemingly from every angle and every position, leads to many astonishing moments, beautiful vistas, and moments of epiphany. The puzzles, while challenging and sometimes frustrating, are fun and build upon their rules and concepts until I had to resort to graph paper and a pencil to keep all of the possibilities in mind.

If you enjoy games with little obvious direction and no definite goal, but which rewards exploration and attention to detail, with a large dose of simple seeming, yet complex puzzles to solve, then this is the game for you.

Great game all the way through. This is what a stealth game should be.
