Kahori was a new player to the global automotive industry, Founded by Shinto Kahori in 1961.

Their first car was a tiny one and it goes by the name of "Ichi" which is released in 1963.

The car wasn't doing bad nor great at first, but almost no one seemed to buy it due to the lack of appeal in big countries like America and England.

So Mr. Shinto and his team got to work modifying the dinghy car to it's absolute potential and it finished 4th place just behind the BMC Mini Cooper in the 1963 Monte Carlo Rally.

But rev, how is that possible? Well the answer to that is the car was tiny and lightweight so the driver can control it to it's limits without the fear of hitting a tree.
