An absolutely stunning game. It was everything I could have ever hoped for from Ghost in the Shell. It had a nice learning curve and plenty of skill you could develop to get better at the game and play at higher levels. GITS was extroadinarily exciting and had quite good graphics for a small game.

It only had a few maps but they were well designed maps with good navigational tactics and different corridors which made the game almost seem like the anime in terms of the assassinations and firefights. It has maps that strongly resemble scenes from the anime although I was not able to pinpoint exactly where, the art style and design more than meets expectations. Some of the maps however were very small and it made the Tachikoma way too OP.

The tachikoma were very limited in capability and customization as well as they could carry you or be piloted which was a letdown.

Best of all was the weaponry choices, they had an interesting and innovative system which I have ever before seen in any FPS game. I like it because it balances your weapons and makes you choose your weapons to match a playstyle rather than having a COD Black Ops 3 ultimate 1 gun every scenario item. Because of this all the characters and their abilities and weapons were extraordinarily balanced and you could never have one perfect all around character, weapon, or ability.

The abilities were just like in the anime, absolutely amazing to see. They were challenging to master but always fun to play and when you combine character abilities using the skill syncs and more, you can create amazing team compositions and strategies allowing insane planning and coordination rather than only ever a free for all shooter.

Sadly, the game is discontinuing and while I disagree with the developers I understand their reasons. I could only ask that they release a server tool and make a LAN mode so that me and my friends and all those enchanted by this game can still enjoy this masterpiece the developers have created.

With tears in my eyes and forever fond memories in my heart, I write this as my last goodbye to what I consider to have been the best game I have played in this last year. Critically unacclaimed and impossibly unnoticed. A game with a strong following who will always love it and miss it, will never forget it and always look for the sequal, will eternally dream of what it will be replaced by or remade as. It may not have been the game everyone wanted, but it was definitely the game a large community needed.

Thank you for creating such an amazing game with such a great community, I will treasure the memories I have made playing it forever.
