Do you have Strength, Benevalance or Talent? Do you wish to crush Imbecils? Do you believe in Strategy?
Then DW8:XLCE is the game for you! Hack and slash your way through goons and engage in combat with their commanders. While the goons are rarely more than a nuicance (except archers and siege weapons), their commanders can be quite the pickle! But nothing more exciting than a duel amidst mixed forces, right?

Seriously, it's a good game. Use the Japanese Voices if you like serious, sad stories, and the English Voices if you're a fan of Ham. Oh my, the Ham. I LOVE the ham provided by the English VAs. It's the best.

From Sima Zhao's popped collar to Cao Cao's eyebrow, each of them will grow on you, and you'll learn to love and hate certain weapons. It's just a good game.

It's fun. It can challenge you if you want, but beware that it will demand you to babysit if you go on higher difficulties. Otherwise it's just fun.
SO.
MUCH.
FUN! :D

A simple, silly little game where you grow a plant to insane heights by burrowing its offshoots into energy rocks!
Along the way, collect crystals and floating utilities to allow for an easier time.
While B.U.D. can grab anything and climb like a ball of glue, like a ball of glue there is a limit how fast he can fall before his hands fail and he smashes! Oops!
Don't worry, the game gives 'ample' teleport oppertunities to make your exploring and collectable cleanup a breeze. Don't forget to experiment with the plants; some have strange effects!
All in all, a very fun game with stuff to experiment with. Some people might say 8 euros is a little much; I'm on the fence. It's a joy of a game, but I can see some might want to wait or a sale.
If you like adventuring and don't mind a little momemtum-heavy platforming, Grow Home can certainly get you your fix!

Good:
- Colourful
- Real sense of accomplishment
- Interesting climbing mechanics
- Good physics once you get used to them
- Good art style!
- Lots of interesting flaura and fauna
- Spooky caves! No actual ghosts, though.
- Unique objective and setting
- Jetpacks that, eventually, are good

Bad:
- The physics are... unique. Very heavy momentum there, BUD.
- Some collectibles are downright stupidly odd in their placement.
- It can take a while to climb places
- Sometimes, just sometimes, you can't really make it over that ledge and it hurts
- The camera-based aiming of the hands is annoying when moving across certain angles
- Glitches out on controls a lot
- Why is Jetpack/jump on the same button as zoom out on controllers?
- Shoots are hard to control properly. I guess they're supposed to be wild.
- Camera has issues

Final Verdict: A must have for someone looking for something new and fresh amongst those wacky boring sandboxes.
A solid 9/10 if it fixes the issues I mentioned, but currently a mighty 8/10! :D

A dumb, straightforward collect-a-thon game that doesn't require you to do a lot to finish the levels. While the movement mechanics are very awkward sometimes, it's rather bug-free and smooth otherwise and certainly a fun, silly little game you should pick up if you're looking for that classic half-baked PS1 feel.
I think it's a little bit pricy for it's cost, but hey, it's better than some more expensive games out there.

It's not too long (depending on how you play), the graphics won't wow you, the musics not terrible and there's actually a certain joy to collecting things.
It's a solid 7/10, though it did get a small bump for being cheap.

I wish I knew how to catch butterflies, though. No matter what I do, they leave before I get there! :<

A criminally overlooked game. For the first game os a studio, it's amazing and I'm sad they drowned in debt shortly after it. But, at the very least, we got this lovely thing.
I wouldn't put it too high on your list, but it's one of the better action RPG's you'll find. A refreshing world that at least seems to try to weave some new dwarves/elves, and feels quite fantastic. It's also very colourful. Skyrim looks better, but this game FEELS better. (though they're both still 'alright/good')
And... uhm... look up sometimes. There's more to those trunks than you think!

Early Access Review
Visually, Starbound is amazing. The animation is smooth, the lighting engine is GODLY.
The problem is that Starbound is shallow and empty. Combat is awkward, the UI clumsy.
For all its worth, Starbound feels like it was made by graphics designers. There's randomly 'made' moster sprites, lots of weapons and tilesets, but none of it does anything special. Starbound is COD. A looker, but it leaves you empty.

If you want a deep, amazing adventure with excitement and action, play Terraria, or try Crea. Crea's also in Early Access, but the polar opposite of Starbound. It looks a lot less (but still pretty great) but has a lot more mechanical depth in it.

EDIT:
Let me add something else. Starbound doesn't change over time. Terraria gave you potions and weird weapons, but Starbound keeps being obsessed with mining and crafting. Crafting, however, is clumsy, and mining very boring (other than the pretty tileset).
The worst part is that, despite its focus on cool monsters, being underground makes the floaty movement choke on itself. And unless you're hunting for dungeons, there's no reason to be surface-side.
Starbound is a sightseeing tour (like I mentioned with COD). Once you've seen the sights, you lose a lot of luster. Destiny is better, because at LEAST Destiny's combat and core gameplay is enjoyable(?).

Why the ♥♥♥♥ is there a spooky zombie ghost segment with jump scares at the end?
I don't need stupid interactive ghost zombies ruining my detective novel. :I

Myst is one of those games that everyone and their mother remakes.
Gameplay wise, it's kinda sad, but it's the lore that really makes this great.

This, for all intents and purposes, is a game that shows how realistic graphics age like bread and a neat artstyle and story age like wine. Not a great wine, but certainly worth your time if you can get it for a good price.

The power in this game is just wasting hours away. If you love cleaning or just futsing around a WHILE, this is great.
It's also perfect to play while listening to a podcast.

Be warned! The physics and such can get on your nerves if you take it seriously, and a few levels are... well a bit silly. A few other things are quite nasty too, but let it go and you'll be fine.

Still, the game's pretty robust and this method of story telling is neat. There's plenty to discovery, so if you really like a great, mindless time waster, this is a great option, since most levels take over an hour to perfect on your first go!

Jazzpunk is silly, fun, filled with technological jokes and honestly is a mixed bag.
I don't judge by how long a game is, but even on pure content it doesn't go a full 14 smackers. There's a few harty laughs, and the weirdness is worth something, but there are better, bigger games for this price.

Is it worth it without a sale? If you REALLY like old timey jokes and references, maybe. If you like sandbox quirks... MAYBE.
If you're looking for a 'game' game, no. It's short, a one-timer, and is more a walking simulator than an engaging experience.
But again, it's great for a quick prank or two.
