I liked the original games, and I like what they have done with the reboot.
It plays like a modern 3rd person action adventure game, but retains the Tomb Raider feel.
Combat is probably the biggest overhaul, with actual targeted shooting, and basic stealth elements now.
The environments are fantastic looking, and have a great sense of scale and peril when you are up high.
They added some Uncharted style scripted action sequences, like escaping a collapsing bridge, or burning building.
Some of these are better than others, though the game is at its best when it is letting you play.
The only thing I didn't really care for is button mashing, and quick time events.
As part of a combat move timed strikes are OK, but not insta fail press X to not die sequences.
Fortunately they are most common at the start, and their usage dies off later in the game.
Overall a big thumbs up, and looking forward to Rise of the Tomb Raider.

If you don't like collecting, clearing, and driving like a mad(max)man around a post apocalyptic wasteland, this game is not for you.
If you do, then you will probably have a lot of fun with this game.

When I first saw this I though it was just some cutesy kids game, it's actually a cleverly designed puzzle platformer.
The interesting thing is they never explicitly explain how to do anything, you learn by observation and experimentation.
You never get any more powerful, what increases is your knowledge of how things work.
It has moments of frustration followed by moments of clarity when everything suddenly become obvious.
It's those epiphanies which really make the experience satisfying, and make you feel smart.
My only criticism is I would have liked a tiny amount of exposition just to say who I was and what I was doing.

An intriguing little first person adventure game.
Just don't look at the screenshots and buy it thinking you are getting an FPS.
In the game you can find a reference to the Fighting Fantasy books, and that is a fair approximation of the style of gameplay.
It is about branching naratives within an overarching plot, and some sporadic combat.
The voice acting is mostly decent, though some of the dialogue is super cheesy.
This is part 1 of a planned trilogy, so don't expect a neat and tidy conclusion with all of your questions answered.

Fun little open world zombie game, which I enjoyed very much.
If you focus solely on the story missions, it probably wouldn't last you that long though.
Art assets seem like a hold over from the 360 version, but game still looks reasonable.
Is also reasonably priced and getting discounted regularly, so give it a shot if smashing in zombie skulls is your king of fun.

I would also recomend the sod savemanager if like me you don't like being at the mercy of a single autosave.

Lifeline DLC
I think it's worthwhile too.
Is a new map and a different more gun heavy experience than the base game.

Very linear and narrative driven, but incredibly atmospheric.
The best misty woods simulator I have played.
PC controls can feel a bit wonky at first, but turn on direct aiming, position the camera over his right shoulder, and you soon get used to it.

More board gamey than the original, but just as engrossing.
