Bright colourful puzzle platforming exploration game.
Moves at a good pace, doesn't pad out it's playtime.
Platforming is nice and forgiving.

This is a style first, puzzle exploration game.
They went for a particular aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed it.
H.R. Giger would be the most obvious inspiration, but also Cronenberg fleshy body horror.
At times it is little more than a walking simulator, though there is some combat.
That is probably the weakest part of the game, this isn't a Dead Space where it is integral.
If you happen to die, you may be subjected to the terrible arbitrary checkpoints.
These can put you back before two or three scripted animations, that you have to sit through again.
There is a single boss fight late on, which I don't think the game needed.
Overall I enjoyed it as an experience, and am glad I played it. Also doesn't overstay it's welcome.

I really like this as a free-form open world survival craft colony management type game.
I do feel to call it an RPG is a bit misleading for what most people would take that to mean.
There is no grand quest or story for you to follow, only the stories you make for yourself.

I do like a good time loop game, The Sexy Brutale, Outer Wilds, Hitman.
This will be going on that list.
There is a tiny bit of combat if you want to do everything, but mostly it is a narrative exploremup.
A really enjoyable mystery romp.

Neat little 2D trading and automation game.
Not something you will be playing for hundreds of hours.
As a one and done play through it was fun though.

A good example of how theming and progression can sell an otherwise sparsely populated open world.
You will either vibe with the desert setting or hate it, as there is certainly a lot of just sand in this game.
There is an overarching story aim to escape, but the game is very unguided. You set your own goals.
I also liked the make your own map as you explore cartography aspect.

Ever dream of running a petrol station?
No, me neither. Turns out it is quite entertaining though.
This game is super janky, but a really well structured chore core experience.
Make sure to pick up the free Party Time DLC, especially if you planning to grind out level 10 popularity.

Great idea for a chorecore game, salvaging spaceships.
As long as you can handle full 3D movement it's a nice chill out game.

This game gets a bit of a bad rap, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
It is not a full on action game.
It is a linear third person story game, interspersed with moments of action and light platforming.
There are also the TV episodes between the acts of the story, that may put some people off.
These mostly feature side characters, and are skippable without missing much if you don't want to watch them.
The game itself looks great, and Remedy do some cool time effects and powers.
The combat is certainly a step up from Alan Wake, but it will be the time travel story that pulls you through.
If you like that sort if sci-fi nonsense you will probably enjoy this tale of Jack Joyce.
