Listen man I cried like 3 times playing this game.

Buy it.

Currently, this game is laughably unplayable. The AI is pants-on-head stupid, the sound design is nonexistent (the bat makes no noise when you strike someone, every NPC, male or female, makes the same grunt, cars continue to emit engine noises even when blown up or they disappear), the list goes on and on.

This game shouldn't be Early Access, it should still be in Beta and be worked on a bit more before releasing it to the public.

However, the concept is fun. It's just Hatred in VR, and if you like that kind of thing, go for it. Better a VR game than a school or your workplace I guess.

I'll hold onto my copy to help support this game and hopefully it will continue to improve into something enjoyable.

-Incredibly cathartic and violent gameplay. Lemme give you some examples.
-Run your sword right through an enemy until you hit your hilt, then whisper sweet nothings into their ear.
-Zap an enemy with lightning to stun them, then ram a dagger through the top of their head.
-Bury a hatchet into their noggin then leave it embedded in their skull.
-Clock an enemy in the face with the edge of your sheild.
-Grab an enemy by the neck or shoulders and repeatedly shank that motherf**ker like they're a disobediant prison ♥♥♥♥♥, then lay them down and shank em some more, just for the hell of it.

What could use work:
-Sword swing delay should really be removed or at least seriously reduced. It feels less like the mimicing of a heavy sword and more like someone is holding the sword back while you try to swing it.
-Let players lower the amount of NPC's spawned to one at a time.

Overall, an excellent violent VR melee sim! 8/10

An excellent realistic gladiator combat game! GORN is if you want to be absolutely barbaric and tear goofy-looking warriors apart with your bare hands, while Gladius is if you want actual sword fighting and a real feel of ancient greek culture. Absolutely worth every penny of the great low price of 10 bucks.

My only gripes are with the sound design. Cheering will cut out completely, shattering immersion. Warriors make the exact same dying sound. But other than that, it's a fantastic addition to your VR collection. I'd say it's better than Sword Fighter VR

At the price it is now ($20), this is THE game for VR right now. This is the most fun I've had in a long time, and it includes cross-platform play so you'll never run out of crew.

Charming, interactive, and immersive. Not to mention FREE! Probably the most content in a free game I've ever seen. You really do feel like you're an agent spying on your neighbors, with all the cigarettes and pizza you could ever want to boot. Plenty of things to interact with as well! Voice acting is above average but not fantastic, and the NPC's walk like zombified robots. But other than that, this game is excellent!

The zombies are fun to kill, but me being a more melee based kind of guy, the mechanic is garbage. Your swings register about 75% of the time, and melee is completely useless against "bosses". Don't even get me started on the terrible "Engrish". Was really hoping this would do it for me, but it's just another buggy, cheap wave shooter.

Something happened along the way, maybe some new update or whatever, but the weapons all feel like they're made of soft rubber. It didn't use to be like this but now it's made the game pretty damn frustrating. I still recommend this game! But man, stiffen up the weapons again!

I don't know what happened over time, because when I first bought this game a long time ago, it was a blast to play. Now? Dinosaurs spawn in the sky and fall down to earth, the game looks worse somehow, and the AI suffered a serious blow to the head. I would have recommended this game before whatever update ruined it, but now I can't.

In only 45 minutes, I could tell this game was a keeper. Sure the dialogue is garbage, but the rest of the game MORE than makes up for it! Graphics are absolutely stunning, AI is decent, gameplay is fantastic, and it definitely satisifies the gore need that some of you might have (like me).
