I played this game 6 years ago and I can still write a clear review. Why? Because the game sticked to skin for days and weeks.

It's as good as the feeling you have when u finish a good book you were involved in.

Expect puzzles, going from one room to another, figuring stuff... until the floor opens under you and you are transported into hellish hallucinations. Expect gore, depression and suicidal tendencies. Good game!

How can a game about managing subway traffic can be so zen?

The system develops just slowly enough to keep you engage yet giving u time to plan a new subway system. Because, yeah, you can erase all your current lines in the pause menu and redisign everything from scratch. U can also switch locomotives to different lines by just dragging them there. Imagine the surprise of the subway driver...

There's even a timeless mode where u don't have to satisfy impatient customers (like in real life) and u just plan creativly with unlimited ressources as well.

The sounds in the game are so relaxing, notifications, line adjustements and the music is just perfect ambient suited for a game like that. It keeps evolving along with your game and that makes it one of the most relaxing experience I had with a game in a long time.

Storytelling at it's best. A living world, thousand of things to do and thousand of ways to while trying.

My only complaint is how basic are the fist fights. For the next GTA, I hope they will add a bit more depth to it, certainly not QTE reactions, but maybe, u know, just grabbing people and push them over a ledge would be great! Just saying...

Incredible collection for such a low price. I had such a good time replaying all those Halo games. Except for Halo 4.

Get it now and experience the weird, slow, low gravity jumps wherever u are in the universe!

almost 1400 hours in, mostly with the War of the chosen expansion which feels essential once you've tried it.

I can't find a more punishing and satisfying game at the same time. Don't expect to win. It's not the purpose of this game. You will always feel behind, short of ressources, etc. Just try to make it as far as possible and enjoy the ride.

Im proud to say that I at least made it without a casuality on iron man heroic difficulty.

The first four months will prob give u enough insight as to if you're already loosing or not. Try to make it to the discovery of the mimic beacon. It's the most important item in the game. Also, move slowly even with the timer's on; the worst thing is to discover two pods of enemies in the same turn. If you end up with that situation and you're playing Iron Man, good luck!

2000 hours later... I could have learned an instrument, I could have read my entire library of books, I could have finished half of my steam library... But nope. i dont regret anything. The best deck building game ive played. Even after 2000 hours, I still find new strategies and synergy with the cards.

My fried tried it once and refuse to buy it because he knows he'll probably fail college.

I played this game in sandbox mode for 500 hours and while the interface might be a bit complicated, u can learn quickly how to build a basically functionning prison. But the heart of this game is to tweak every little details unless you get the prison u really want. The depth of the possibilities integrated to make your prison as u like is overwhelming. Give yourself 20-30 hours to really understand all the options. Or instead of me, play the story mode to get some kind of tutorial in a nice fashion. I never tried the story mode. If there's a sandbox option, i'll always go for it and probably never go back to the story.

One of the deepest simulator ive ever tried. The behaviors of prisonners feel natural. The sounds are nice, and everything is polished, maybe except the menus that could benefit a rehaul.

i've played this since the alpha version. After hundred of hours, I still havent touch the story mode yet. I like the loneliness of the sandbox mode. Also, they introduced the toolkit at some point so you can create the game u really want to play. There is so much customization out there, I just started another game recently.

My favorite survival experience. It's slow, solitary and eerily beautiful.

Almost 1800 hours in the game. I decided to retire because they won't make new content anymore and my Steam library is just angry at me.

Long story short, it's the best shooter ive ever played. I give it a 9.75/10 however because we were promised a soundtrack. I stand with Mick Gordon on that one. Let Mick finish the work!
