Incredible remake. Still incredibly glitchy (maybe even worse than the original) but it improves on all of my biggest complaints of the original. The leveling system is vastly improved, sprint and movement speed changes feel great, the Dunmer finally look and sound like Dunmer, it's incredible. Worth every penny.

Easily the most ambitious 4X game I've ever played. Loved it at launch and came back to it only to find that they've continually updated and expanded the base game as well as refreshed content from the older DLCs with each update. No other 4X game gives you this much creative freedom with how you build your empire and cultures and the Pantheon system gives you an evolving ecosystem to keep playing games with. At the time of writing they're about to roll out yet another update to the base cultures, keeping them just as interesting as the DLC ones. Really can't say enough good things about this game, it even plays great on Steam Deck!

Buggy game with tons of legitimate faults, but well worth every penny. I loved it.

Tl;dr: Worth it if you've played every other Vampire the Masquerade game on Steam already and just want more.

Doesn't hold a candle to the greats like Night Road. Doesn't work well as a game (as evidence by the fact that the lowest % achievements are for actually losing the game and require actually ATTEMPTING to fail to get them). A lot of the clans for prior characters make no sense. Powers feel more like a detriment than a benefit.

Still an interesting story with interesting characters, good art and music, but it's been done better a half a dozen times already.

Unironically slaps

Great game but there's a bug with Steam Cloud where if you swap from Deck to PC or PC to Deck, it corrupts your save data. Lost everything near the very end of the game.

Update: Heat nerfed, game saved.

Sleeper hit game. Ugly character models, forgettable story, milk-toast protagonist but insanely fun combat with addictive character progression and an innovative difficulty slider. Update: And they actually fixed all the achievement issues!

Thoroughly enjoyable and replayable CRPG with an enormous emphasis on choices matter. The conquest intro is one of the coolest systems I've ever seen added to an RPG and one I'd really like to see used more in other games. A bit buggy and the DLC is absolutely not worth picking up but a really fun and different setting for a CRPG that you can enjoy multiple playthroughs of.
