This review only focuses on the Booking part of the game as that is the only part I have played! I also only do AI vs. AI, and I haven't actually controlled any of the wrestlers.

But holy crap is this game insane, even just setting up the matches and watching. I am used to just playing the WWE 2K games, and lately MyGM. This game blows that out of the water, and is a lot more realistic.

What I really love is how injuries work. I was watching a match I put together and one of the guys jumped to the outside and landed on his shoulder. He held his shoulder for the remainder of the match, I knew something was wrong. After it was over I got a message saying he was going to be out for 2 weeks with a shoulder injury.

Just watching the matches is a treat, though. The amount of reversals is insane. They will go into a pin, reverse into a pin, reverse into a pin, and reverse into another pin, then reverse into a submission or pick up into a power bomb. Another time a guy was in a bear hug from behind so he did an "RKO out of nowhere". Then in a tag match, one of the wrestlers did a back drop and his partner was behind him so instead of falling to the ground he changed it into a hurricanrana. 12 hours into this game and I still see reversals that I have never seen before.

Wrestlers can even botch! And it's not a bug, its a feature!

Outside of the matches, there is more to the booking portion. You need to deal with contracts which is very in depth. Want to give them creative control? Should they have health insurance? You choose the contract, and they decide if they sign it or not. You can even purchase wrestlers from other promotions if the deal is good enough.

For the first time today I got challenged to an inter-promotional event. All of their champions and best vs. mine. We won 4 of the 6 matches, which won us the country. You will be competing for countries/territories, and so much more.

This game is just awesome. It can be very clunky at times and very silly, but there is nothing else like this on the market. Wrestlers age, they can die, they can retire... so much can happen. If you love booking wrestling show, get this game. You probably won't regret it.
