An awful port that eventually saw the light of day after a couple of updates. Definitely not the definitive version of the game, by far, but still hits the spot for a veteran such as myself. Furthermore, I recommend going for the DS version if you are going in blind, but if you have experienced this masterpiece and wish to replay it, then give this version a try. As for Chrono Trigger as a game... Excellent and carefully thought out story-telling. Visuals are crammed with artistic integrity, with a lot of tiny details spread out throughout the game that gives Chrono Trigger its polished fame. Hauntingly beautiful musical compositions. Engaging gameplay. Mix it together and you get an unforgettable experience like none other. 10 out of 10.
